Curriculum

Does your club have a ‘true’ player development curriculum?
Schools adopt a curriculum so trained teachers maintain high standards, ensure equal opportunity, achieve learning outcomes and ensure consistency. Expecting untrained and inexperienced coaches to work outside of a curriculum infrastructure results in diverse player experiences, player and coach dropout, and unfulfilled player and coach potential. Your club/SPFC curriculum will feature:

Comprehensive development rationale
Club branded—colors, photo etc
Full club ownership
Detailed explanation how to:
Implement Player Development
Train speed and agility
Introduce basic and advanced skills, techniques and tactics
A Full explanation of development characteristics for all youth players (4-18 years old)

Complete ‘Competency Matrix’ - What to coach and when to coach skills, tactics and laws.
Supported by Parents Guide—including 10 tips to supporting young players
