Youth Soccer Assessment Tool (Y-SAT™) - FREE* |
SoccerPlus offers a unique approach to evaluating the
needs of the youth soccer organization. Using a
proprietary assessment tool, the Y-SAT, a SoccerPlus Consultant conducts an in-depth assessment of the
organizations needs by focusing on four areas:
1)
Coaching,
2) Curriculum,
3) Player Development including Assessment and Talent
Identification,
4)
Administration including Facilities and Equipment.
Within five days of the initial
assessment, the Board of Directors are presented with an
extensive analysis of current provision and performance,
and recommendations for improvement.
The primary purpose of the assessment is to identify the
strengths and weaknesses that currently exist, and to
inform
recommendations to enhance the program.

Assessment Stages |
1) Club and
SoccerPlus sign Y-SAT Agreement,
2) Club provides SoccerPlus with club documents—a list of
documents will be furnished to the client,
3) Survey/Interview—depending on the geographical
location of the client, SoccerPlus will either provide the
club with a survey
or conduct an in person interview. The club is requested
to identify 4-6 (or more) people capable of answering questions
pertaining to the four areas of the assessment.
4) Follow-up conference call may be required to clarify
some outstanding questions.
5) Y-SAT report is completed using the club
documentation and interview/survey responses.
6) SoccerPlus Consultant presents the Y-SAT Assessment in
person or by web conference (depending on geographical
considerations).
7) SoccerPlus provide club with an electronic copy of the
assessment and recommendations.
8) Club decides whether to engage SoccerPlus and/or partners
to implement proposal.
9) If appropriate, SoccerPlus provides client with agreement.
The entire process will take 10-30 days to complete.
