|
The FieldPlayer Academy is designed to give
male and female soccer players the opportunity to develop
their overall game skills in a competitive
environment with quality goalkeepers. Students
will continue to train and learn the soccer
skills
needed in every aspect of the game. The program
does not concentrate just on "scoring
goals" but develops each player with skills
needed to play any position on the field from
defense, midfield and forward. While training on
the field our students will be able to test
their skills immediately in game-like situations
with goalkeepers from our Goalkeeper School.
While
playing in the game situations with the
goalkeepers, the FieldPlayer Academy Students
will have their coach right along side them
giving encouragement, advice and instant
feedback. The importance of being coached in
game-like situations cannot be overstated, yet a FieldPlayer should not be unprepared. The
FieldPlayer Academy will give you the right
balance between technical training and
functional training on the field.
This
program is not for every soccer player. FieldPlayer Academy students should already be
proficient in fundamental soccer skills.
With
a student/staff ratio of 8:1 or better, our
staff builds personal relationships and
increases self confidence for each student. At
week’s end, each student leaves camp a better
soccer player and with the knowledge and tools
to continue to improve.

Striker
Program |
The
FieldPlayer Academy offers a
specialized school for strikers. The
hardest thing to do on a soccer field is score
goals. No matter what position you play, we will
make you a better goal-scorer! This Program puts
heavy emphasis on Functional Training for
Midfielders and Forwards in the offensive third
and is all about scoring goals. The Striker
School will allow our students to become
effective finishers in front of the net. With SoccerPlus Goalkeeper School Students in the
net, campers will concentrate on scoring goals
from many angles, from various services and by
using multiple finishing techniques. Each
student will score more goals during the week
then they thought possible. This Program and our
Staff will help develop your presence on the
field as a goal scoring threat.

Core Program |
NEW
- The Core FieldPlayer Training
Program, has been developed by creating an
abridged version of the FieldPlayer and Striker curriculums.
This 4-day, 3-night camp is ideal for field players who have a solid foundation and are looking
to fine tune specific skills, be prepared prior to tryouts or
are looking to show at their best during for a tournament or
college showcase. Each session will be specifically tailored for
the training group to ensure that the topics returning
field players wish to work on are covered, while quickly reviewing
areas that are less pertinent. For less experienced goalkeepers,
the Core program provides an abbreviated overview on the
position, covering the most
central aspects of the position, getting right down to the Core
of field players. The shortened length of this camp ensures that
while sessions are still demanding, field players can come, train
and leave without the same wear and tear of the week-long
program, meaning that field players who attend this program will
require minimal recovery time before attending other events.

Two
Week Programs |
|
Once again, SoccerPlus offers a
Two-Week FieldPlayer Academy. By combining both the
FieldPlayer Program and the Striker Program we can
offer our students the extended time and training
needed to maximize their potential. Offered only at
the following sites:
Colgate University in Hamilton, NY
Northfield Mount Hermon, MA
Students who attend the Two-Week Academy will stay
with our staff for 13 days for an unmatched exposure
to soccer education.

Team
Week |
A team or group will
receive a discount of $50
for each student. There must
be at least 10 students in the group and all
applications will need to be received at the same
time. The group of ten or more students can consist of
any combination of goalkeepers and fieldplayers.
If a team attends, the coach may attend for $400 which
is $200 less than the cost of the Coach's Program!We also have a GIRLS' PRESEASON
TEAM WEEK
(for teams of 15 or more)

Coaches'
Session |
Coaches now have the opportunity to learn soccer,
utilizing the DiCicco Method. The Coaches Session
invites coaches to observe our training methods
first hand. Whatever level or age group you coach,
we will give you insight how to get the most out of
your players. It’s a must for any coach who feels
the need to learn more about soccer. Coaches will be
paired with a Director who will work with them to
ensure they have a positive Coaching Education
experience.
This program is especially good for coaches who
are looking to develop their ability to train

Multiple Weeks of Camp
Many
students have expressed a wish to attend two or more
sessions during the summer, at differing locations. If you wish to attend any
two individual weeks, you may deduct $100
from the second week you are attending. (This discount
does not apply to the 2-week Academies)
Students
from the Same Family
Students
from the same immediate family will receive a discount
of $50 for each student. The students must be
from the same family and discount cannot be used in
addition to any other discount.
Team
or Group Discount
A team or group will
receive a discount of $50 for
each student. There must be at least 10
students in the group, and all applications will need
to be received at the same time. If a team attends, the coach may attend
for $400 which is $200 less than the cost of the
Coach's Program! (This discount does not apply to the
"Team Week").
Please
Note: Discounts may not be
combined. In the event that you qualify for
more than one discount, you will receive the
greatest single discount applicable. Students
participating in the December 31, 2011 Early
Registration Discount are eligible to receive one
additional discount along with their $50 early
registration discount for a total discount not to
exceed $100.
